Iberian Adventure

When I was in Portugal recently, I had the opportunity to experience some of the activities at Diver Lanhoso Adventure Park, which is the biggest Iberian Adventure Sports Park.

I didn’t spend the night there but it is possible to stay in the park in one of the 6 wooden houses, in a dorm, or you can pitch a tent. There are many activities you can take part in from mountain biking to hot air ballooning. I tried out the suspended bridges, zip-lining, the pendulum jump and caving.  Here’s a short video which documents my time there…

The staff are really great. They are very supportive, enthusiastic, and it’s plain to see that they love what they do.  If you want to do something adventurous but are a bit scared, this might just be the antidote for it.  They are very safety conscious (always a good thing), they explain everything, and are very encouraging.  They want you to have the best experience whatever your reason for being there; whether it a company team-building day, a children’s summer camp, or for a special occasion such as a wedding (yes, that’s right, I did say wedding).

I would like to say a big thank you to the staff at Diver Lanhoso Adventure Park, Visit Portugal, and TBU for making it possible.

This is where it’s located…
