Book Launch: Women On The Road

The aim of Independent Travel Help is to inspire, motivate and provide information to women who are aged 35+ to travel independently.  So, I am very happy to announce the launch of a new book, which has similar aims: ‘Women on the Road’ by Leyla Giray.  She, like me, started travelling independently later in life and, as a result, is keen to encourage women to break through the barriers that are stopping them from realising their dreams of travelling the world.

‘Women on the Road’ is a really useful resource for women (not just for baby-boomers) who are thinking of travelling, particularly for the first time.  It is very informative and covers pretty much everything you would need to know when planning your trip and when you are on the road.  She has included some useful tips and links to other websites for further information and help.  You can purchase it in different formats, which include PDF, Kindle and Nook-specific formats.  So, if you (or someone you know) are thinking of going travelling, click on the banner below to buy the book.  While you’re there, if you have a few minutes, it’s well worth listening to the interview with the author, Leyla Giray.
