A rose at sea in Bournemouth is this week’s Foto Friday, which follows on from Wednesday’s ‘romance’ theme for Valentine’s week.
While I was strolling along Bournemouth Beach the other day, I spotted a girl taking a photograph of a rose that was planted in the sand. I thought it had to be part of a project but she walked off, leaving the rose behind. That led me to assume that it wasn’t her rose. So, I think it was probably left there by a photographer who had been taking wedding photographs of a newly married couple. I could be wrong but people who get married in Bournemouth often head to the beach to have some photos taken. Well, it is a beautiful backdrop for wedding photos, wouldn’t you agree?
It was late in the day when I took this photograph. The tide was going out and you can see the reflection of the clouds and the rose in the water.
