Gone Fishing!

Traditional Fishing in Guilin, Guangxi, China

After visiting the Reed Flute Caves, I went for a walk around a nearby lake.  It was so quiet and tranquil even though it’s only a short bus ride from the hustle and bustle of Guilin.  During my walk, I could hear local musicians in the temple on the other side of the lake.  I took some time to soak up the relaxing atmosphere and watch some of the local men fishing.

As usual, I have included a map so you can see where it is.  If you happen to be in Guilin, it’s definitely worth taking a local bus to enjoy the peace and quiet nearby as well as visiting the caves.
