Nature Versus Manmade: Discord Or Harmony?

The Temples of Angkor, Siem Reap, Cambodia

The temples of Angkor are probably the most unusual and interesting I have ever visited, in terms of architecture and nature versus construction.  It is such an unusual and interesting place that there is just so much to see and photograph.  For this week’s Foto Friday, I have chosen this particular picture because of the way the tree dramatically yet elegantly drapes itself over the building.  The local children sitting at the side of the building highlight the size of the tree.  It really is a sight to behold – spectacular, in fact!

Angkor Wat, Asia, Cambodia, building

If you are in Cambodia then I am sure this will be on your list of places to visit.  If not, it really should be!  Here’s a map of the location.
