Olympic Torch Relay for London 2012
On Friday, 13 July 2012, I was very fortunate to finally see the Olympic Torch and I didn’t have to go very far. In fact, I just had to walk about 40 metres from my house to the end of my road. The area was a lot busier than usual with people of all ages and their pets waiting patiently in anticipation of a once-in-a-lifetime view of the Olympic Torch.
It was a great atmosphere. Once the police arrived beeping their horns and encouraging the gathered crowd, we knew the torch wasn’t far away.

And then… the Olympic Torch…
as it made it’s way to Bournemouth Town Centre for the Olympic Torch Party before continuing it’s journey to London. Not long now until London 2012 begins!
